Nonlinear Optics,  Ultrafast Dynamics, Laser Spectroscopy, 2nd/3rd  Order Nonlinear Optical Effects, Optical Limiters, Molecular Switches, Nonlinear Optical Response of graphene and its derivatives , Nonlinearities of nano-materials (organic semiconductors, metal oxides, azobenzene-based molecules, fullerenes), Home-made secondary laser sources based on nonlinear phenomena for delivering intense and ultra-short laser pulses tunable from the near-UV through the Visible to near IR (Optical Parametric Amplifiers, White Light sources)

Other skills

  • Experience in material characterization techniques (Absorption spectroscopy, X-Ray Diffraction, Raman spectroscopy, Dynamic Light Scattering, Transmission Electron Microscopy)
  • Use the software of Labview, OriginLab, Matlab
